FTW SDR - 2-Axis Rotary Tables with conventional drive

Our Two-Axis Rotary Tables combines the property of the Single Axis Rotary Tables with the advantage for 5 axis machining. The design of FTW SDR using all main components of the Single Axis Rotary Tables FTW DR.

The FTW SDR swivels with worm drive allow part positioning and simultaneous machining with high torque. The drive is equipped with an adjustable worm drive (Ott or Duplex). In special cases we additionally use a planetary gear.They allow an exact positioning even with high machining forces. The tables are equipped with an extremely stable, hydraulic clamping.

The FTW SDR rotary tables can be customized to a large degree and can be supplied in a broad range of variants..

  • Complex systems enable 5 axis machining of work pieces in one single clamping position
  • Drive by worm gear or bevel gear
  • Fluids are supplied by rotary coupling through the swivelling axis to the turning axis
  • Both devices of swivelling axis are possible to clamp in position
  • High acceptance of machining forces in case of strong casting housings and casting bridges
